Below is the list of ingredients for 1 TURTLE, just multiply for more. Note: There are 2 ways to make these: to eat at home, and to-go. If you are taking these to go, don’t fill with peanut butter, and you’ll need a toothpick for each “leg” and “head”. If you’re eating at home, the PB makes it a more filling snack and you can just set the grapes in place.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 apple
  • 45 grapes
  • 2 mini chocolate chips
  • peanut butter (for the glue to hold the eyes in place + fill the “shell” if you like)
  • 5 toothpicks (optional if you’re eating at home; necessary if these are to-go)

Instructions

  1. Cut and core any green apple. We used Granny Smith.
  2. I filled the underside of ours with peanut butter to make it a more filling snack; if you are doing this on-the-go, skip the PB.
  3. Use toothpicks to hold the grapes in place. Cut the front legs or leave them whole.
  4. This is a little tricky but dip the bottom of a miniature chocolate chip in peanut butter and stick it on the head. Repeat. Eyes!
