One-Pot Pasta with Sausage & Spinach

You’ll need a nice big pan for this recipe. I have a deep skillet with a lid but a Dutch Oven or soup pot would be perfect too.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound sausage, mild or sweet

2 cups frozen spinach (still frozen)

1 pound pasta, any shape

1 quart chicken stock (1 carton)

1 cup cheese, any combination of parmesan/mozzarella

Instructions

Brown the sausage in a big skillet or pan.

Add frozen spinach.

Add pasta.

Add chicken stock.

Stir and cover. Bring to a boil. Remove lid, lower heat and allow to simmer until noodles are tender and sauce is thickened, about 15-20 minutes.

Stir in cheese and serve.
