Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bunch fresh kale
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Wash the kale. Then strip the leaves from the stems. Discard the stems into your compost bin.
  2. Rip the leaves apart into bite sized pieces. Then arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil. Massage the oil into the leaves.
  4. Spread the leaves evenly. Sprinkle with salt.
  5. Pop into a 400 degree F oven and bake for about 15 minutes. Mine are crispy by this time. I don’t need to flip them. HOWEVER, depending on how crowded your pan gets, you may need to flip or otherwise stir your kale chips. Or bake for another few minutes.
