The sweetest way to make your kids squeal is only 3 ingredients away.
How to make Jack-o-lantern apricot hand pies for Halloween
Roll out pie dough, using your favorite homemade recipe or a sheet from the store. One large pie crust makes 5-6 hand pies. Use a glass to cut 8-12 circles (depending on how many pies you’re making).
Place circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone baking mat. Add a dollop of apricot jam, spreading almost to the edges.
For the remaining circles, use a paring knife to quickly cut 3 triangles and 1 smile.
Place the jack-o-lantern circles on top of the jam circles. Fashion a little stem out of a little rolled dough; squish it to the top.
Crimp the edges of the jack-o-lantern hand pies with a fork.
Brush with fresh cream. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.
